Daring to be Real - NVC advanced workshop with Simone Anlinker
9.30am Saturday 5 May to 4pm Sunday 6 May 2018

Venue: Riverside Community meeting room, 289 Main Rd Lower Moutere, Upper Moutere 7175

A two-day Nonviolent Communication weekend workshop with Simone Anlinker, Anna Groves and Rob ten Broeke to free up trauma, allowing the real you to emerge.

Do you know the situation that despite all the knowing about NVC, all the years of learning new ways of communicating, in certain situations you don't have access to all that? There is a reason why this is so – in such situations unresolved pain is being stimulated that is projected onto the other or the situation. Whenever we have a communication problem, there's always old pain stimulated, stored in our body, especially in our heart. Bringing awareness and compassion to those parts in us, frees us from the old (lifelong) conditioning. It opens us to the light and core we really are. This training is a different approach to NVC from a psychological spiritual view.

Simone Anliker, lic.iur., a certified CNVC trainer (Center for Nonviolent Communication, USA), is the founder and owner of Compassion & Voice, an international seminar and coaching company based in Switzerland. She worked with Marshall B. Rosenberg and now co-trains with Robert Gonzales internationally. Her interest is in spiritual psychology, healing and transformation. She is an iEMDR Coach and a NARM-practitioner in training (both trauma specialties). From early age on, she had an inner knowing of a higher purpose. In January 2017, the inspiration and call to manifest a big vision became so strong that 'The Dyad Inquiry Project – Guidance from within' was born - building a world-wide conscious online community that connects people - no matter where they are on the globe - through a unique, powerful meditation process, called the Dyad Meditation.

Yoga & Nonviolent Communication (NVC) weekend workshop
10am 26 May to 4pm 27 May 2018

Venue: Space Yoga & Mindfulness, 8 Lookout Rd, Mt Victoria Wellington 6021
Facilitated by yoga teacher Katie Lane and Certified NVC trainer Anna Groves

We usually think of yoga as something we do on a mat, in the safe container of our own personal space. This is often the first place we are truly introduced to the lively landscape of our inner world and, in the practices of asana and meditation, we learn to acknowledge and welcome all that is alive inside us. However, even with a cultivated "yoga mindset", it is in our relational life where we often continue to encounter obstacles, challenge, and frustration as we come into conversation or conflict with another. Most of us are hungry for skills that can improve the quality of our relationships, increase our contribution through our work in the world, and deepen our sense of personal empowerment.

NVC reminds us how uplifting it feels to authentically connect with ourselves and other human beings. It offers practical and powerful skills that enhance relationships and enrich life. By practising NVC, we learn to identify and express our feelings and needs so that other people can more easily relate to us. It helps us make key differentiations between observing and judging, requesting and demanding, and gives us effective strategies for sharing our truth in a way that helps others listen. In turn, we learn ways to listen to others more deeply.

Yoga and NVC are perfect partners. Yoga, as a body based awareness practice, can show us over time how the language of body sensation points us towards our feelings and how our feelings help us uncover our deepest needs. It's from this place of knowing our needs and being able to hear the needs of others that we can more authentically and courageously communicate with ourselves and those we live, love, and work with.

Limited spaces will be available for this intimate event.
